Cream Persian or Longhair

Cream Persian or Longhair

Purity of color is difficult to maintain with the Cream Persian, which apparently originated from a cross of Blue and Red longhaired cats. The color in a show cat must be pale cream, with no blotched markings (common in kittens) and no pure white. The coat should not be ticked. Each hair should be solid in color to its roots. The large round eyes are copper or deep orange. There is a tendency for the coat to become woolly. In show cats it must be silky.
